Tennessee Nursing Schools

Nurses in Tennessee have many schools to choose from to pursue a graduate degree. There are seven schools that offer only a Master of Science (MSN) degree. They are Belmont University, Carson-Newman College, King College, Lincoln Memorial University, Middle Tennessee State University, and Tennessee Technological University. Two schools offer a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in addition to an MSN. Those schools are Union University and University of Tennessee Chattanooga. Four schools offer a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in addition to an MSN and a DNP degree. They are East Tennessee State University, University of Tennessee Health Science Center, the 44th rated nursing school, University of Tennessee Knoxville and Vanderbilt University, the 15th rated nursing school.
